Deciding where to stay in Maui

As you first look for places to stay in Maui, you’re hit with an overwhelming amount of options. Below we’ve listed a handful of places we really like.  Our criteria includes: affordability, location to great beaches, amenities, and room quality.

The Mauian

On one of our favorite Maui beaches, the Mauian has studios with kitchens and private lanais only steps from Napili Beach.  See rates and contact info.

Sugar Beach Resort

One and Two bedroom condos with fully equipped kitchens on one of the least crowded, beautiful beaches on Maui, the Sugar Beach Resort is an often-missed location for visitors.

Maalaea Banyans

You can’t really get closer to the water than in these condos on Maalaea Bay. Walking distance to the Maui Ocean Center, shopping and restaurants.  See rates and unit options.

Wailea Grand Champions Villas

From studios to 3-bedroom units, Wailea Grand Champions Villas offers great variety and moderate prices for luxury accommodations in Wailea, set on the Old Blue Golf Course. See current rates and info.

Sands of Kahana

Kahana is often overlooked due to it being 5 minutes outside of Lahaina Town.  This corner unit offers views of Lanai, Molokai, the beach and plenty of ocean.  See Rates and more information.

Hale Napili

Also directly on Napili Beach, Hale Napili has 18 one bedroom and studio condos with private lanais, oceanfront BBQs and shuffleboard. See rates and information.

Maui Coast Hotel

Across from the beautiful Kamaole Beach Park I, the Maui Coast Hotel is a full service hotel with an on-site restaurant, tennis and beautiful pool. See rates and contact info.
